Lane Four Performance Clinics
Elevating Swimmers Through Precision, Efficiency, and Race Performance
Lane Four Performance clinics are designed and led by Kayky Mota. Olympian, former Division I athlete, and coach with over five years of coaching experience, currently serving the Utah community by bringing quality and fun to young people that want to reach a higher level of swimming.
Our clinics are built for swimmers who want more than extra yardage. They focus on technical mastery, race efficiency, and long-term development, helping swimmers improve faster through clear instruction and individualized feedback.
Our mission is to provide every swimmer with a unique and efficient learning experience by sharing the lessons, systems, and insights gained through years of high-level training, competition, and coaching. Each clinic targets specific performance limitations and equips swimmers with tools they can immediately apply in practice and competition.
Who We Are
-
To provide every swimmer with a unique, efficient, and high-impact learning experience by sharing the systems, lessons, and standards developed through years of elite training, international competition, and hands-on coaching.
Lane Four Performance exists to bridge the gap between high-level swimming knowledge and age-appropriate, understandable instruction, so every swimmer can access tools that actually translate to performance.
LaneFour is about “Quality over Quantity”!
-
Our clinics are structured to maximize learning efficiency. Rather than overwhelming swimmers with information, we focus on one clear problem and one clear solution per clinic.
Swimmers leave with:
Clear technical cues they can remember and apply
Improved awareness of their stroke and racing skills
Greater confidence in training and competition

Olympian-Led Design: Every clinic is personally designed and led by Kayky Mota and experienced instructors
Efficiency First: Focused instruction that accelerates learning without overload
Limited Enrollment: Small groups ensure meaningful individual feedback
Performance Transfer: Skills taught are meant to show up in practice and racing
Connection: There’s a sense of belonging. We care about every single swimmer that has a drive to get better

Our clinics follow a structured development pathway, allowing swimmers to build skills progressively:
Foundation → Efficiency → Race Execution
The Lane Four Performance Pathway is designed to guide swimmers through a clear and intentional development process. We begin by building a strong technical foundation in all four strokes, ensuring swimmers understand proper mechanics and body control.
From there, the focus shifts toward efficiency and performance, refining timing, coordination, and stroke execution to create speed with less effort. As swimmers progress, we integrate race-specific elements, including underwaters, starts, turns, and race mentality, preparing athletes to perform confidently and effectively in competition.
This pathway allows swimmers to develop complete skills, build confidence, and translate technical improvement directly into race performance.
